It took a long time, but I decided to start writing again. Nobody got killed and there wasn't any type of violent upheaval during the summer of 2008. I just wanted to spend the hot, sunny days with the top of my car down and my t-shirt off. Just riding around, listening to country music and looking for myself down roads I'd traveled down a thousand times before. And as the mornings grew colder, the face I recognized in the mirror started to resembe me a little more everyday.
